A new variety of Mourning Widow with delicately ruffled mauve flowers set off with darker lavender swirls and edges.
Flowers are held above lush semi-evergreen foliage patterned with the distinctive bronze-purple blotches found in just a few varieties of this species.
As with other Geranium phaeum cultivars, ‘Lavender Pinwheel’ is an easy-to-grow
garden plant that performs well in both shade and sun. It can be
a really good solution for problem areas such as beneath trees
if kept well watered. Grows to 28” tall by 12” wide. Flowers
April-June. US hardy zones 4-8. |
